AAON Reports Record Sales, Higher Earnings

AAON, Inc. today announced its operating results for the third quarter and nine-month period ended September 30, 2007.

In the quarter, net sales were a record high of $70.9 million, up 11 percent from $64.2 million during the corresponding period in 2006, and net income equaled the third quarter record level of $5.4 million in the same period a year ago. Net sales for the first nine months of 2007 were up 13 percent to a record $200.4 million, compared to $176.9 million in 2006, and earnings increased by 48 percent to a record $18.6 million, compared to $12.6 million.

It was also announced that the AAON Board of Directors has authorized the company to repurchase up to 10 percent (about 1.8 million shares) of its outstanding common stock.
