Air Assurance Debuts Energy Efficient Building

Broken Arrow-based Air Assurance has officially opened a new headquarters facility at 1301 Southwest Expressway Drive.
The 18,000-SF building, which was designed by RW Bright Architects Inc. and built by CBCI LLC, features a heat and air system the recycles energy within the system, a first for Oklahoma.
According to a company release, Air Assurance expects to qualify for tax breaks for the HVAC system, the lighting/electrical system, and the insulation/structure systems under the Energy Policy Act of 2005. If the systems do, in fact, qualify as expected, the company may receive up to $1.80 per SF in tax breaks.
Given the building’s size, Mike Rampey, President of Air Assurance, expects as much as $45,000.00 annually in savings.
