Almon Officially No Longer With Arkansas Valley State Bank

Arkansas Valley State Bank President Terry M. Almon is no longer an employee of the Broken Arrow-based bank, a spokesperson for the bank said.
Almon no longer holds the position as of Sept. 28, said LaTaunya Williams, marketing director. She would not say if Almon had been removed from the position or if she had resigned.
“All I can say is she is no long employed by Arkansas Valley State Bank,” she said.
Almon became president of the bank in 2004.
Arkansas Valley Chair Kelley Rush notified employees Aug. 14 by internal E-mail that Almon “will be on leave of absence from the bank,” the Broken Arrow Ledger reported.
“We will be making an announcement shortly with respect to our plans to cover her duties … all employees should respect her privacy, and will be expected to refrain from all communications with her during this leave … ,” the E-mail said.
Founded in Broken Arrow in 1905, Arkansas Valley is a fourth-generation, family-owned community bank with locations in Tulsa and Broken Arrow.
