Arena Resources Tops Fortune Small Business 100

Arena Resources has been named as the fastest growing American small business by Fortune Magazine’s Small Business 100, a list that will be published in the publication’s July/August issue.
The Tulsa-based company, which was founded in 2000, had 2006 revenue of $59.8 million and earned $23.3 million in net income.
Arena Resources employs 52 and has shown 164 percent annualized growth over the previous three years.
Lloyd T. Rochford serves as the company’s CEO.
North American Galvanizing, a Tulsa-based steel processor headed by Ronald J. Evans also made the list at 16.
North American Galvanizing, which employs 368 in 11 nationwide plants, saw 2006 revenues of $74.1 million and had a three-year annualized revenue growth rate of 28.17 percent.
