Arvest Launches Advanced Version of Mobile Banking

Arvest Bank has unveiled its latest version of Mobile Banking – an application based protocol, that Arvest claims is mobile banking made simple.
Mobile banking allows consumers to view account balances, pay bills and make transfers all through their phone.
“If you’re in an electronics store and you want to buy a new television, you can take out your phone, check balances, check transaction history and transfer funds. The transfer will post that day,” said Jason Kincy, Arvest Bank marketing manager and vice president of alternative delivery. “No trip to the bank required.”
Arvest decided to launch the new application-based software because it simple to use and secure. The data is encrypted and consumers have a custom six-digit PIN they use to access their banking information. The PIN can be changed at any time. No personal identification numbers, such as social security numbers, are transmitted as a part of Mobile Banking.
