BA Police Department Renovation Underway

The Broken Arrow Police Department’s building at 2302 S. First Place will be seeing a major renovation over the next eight months.
“Select members of the staff will be moving to our fire resource building and our fire/police training center while the improvements are being made,” said Keith Sterling, the city’s director of communications.
“Within the next week, our 911 dispatchers will be relocating to City Hall and temporarily operating out of our information systems area,” he said.
There will not be any impact to the general public during this process. The Justice Center adjacent to the department will continue to operate normally, Sterling said.
The renovation process is expected to wrap up in December to early January.
The $485,000 in funds for the project will come from the last bond issue and city crews will be utilized to help hold down expenses.
