BOK Center Wins Prime Site Award

The BOK Center wins the Prime Site award from Facilities Magazine, which is the primary source for professional planners of conventions, meetings, entertainment and special events.
The BOK Center will be listed as a winner in the 2009 Facilities SuperBook.
The center is nominated as the “Best New Major Concert Venue of the Year” award by Pollstar, the concert industry’s leading publication.
General Manager John Bolton has already won the “Hall of Headlines” award for bookings by industry publication Venues Today and has been nominated for the “Facility Executive of the Year” award by Pollstar.
The 2008 Prime Site Awards are based on the opinions of those in the industry directly involved with site selection, booking agents, promoters, talent buyers and special event planners. An awards ballot ran in a recent issue and online at www.facilitiesonline.com. Any facility that received more than a set number of votes qualified as a Prime Site winner.
The criteria included: location; functionality; technical capabilities; quality of staff; food and beverage; Lighting, Sound and Staging; Access/Egress and Other Amenities.
Facilities Magazine has given these awards for 15 years.
