The newest Osage Nation Casino, the Million Dollar Elm-Bartlesville, is scheduled to open in February.
Osage Nation Principal Chief Jim Gray, Tribal Council members and Gaming Enterprise board members held a groundbreaking ceremony in October for the 35,000 SF facility, located at 222 Allen Rd.
The $8 million construction project employs 35 contractors and created more than 100 individual construction jobs. The facility was designed and is being erected by TDC Oklahoma LLC. Ambler Architects of Bartlesville is providing additional architectural, civil, interior and landscape design.
The completed casino will feature 600 electronic gaming devices, several table games, a restaurant, bar, deli and parking for 700 vehicles.
Once open, the casino will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Osage Tribe’s headquarters is in Pawhuska and the Osage Nation Reservation consists of nearly 1.5 million acres across northeastern Oklahoma.
The Tribe operates casinos in Hominy, Pawhuska and Sand Springs. The Tulsa casino opened in August of 2005.
