This trademark grants exclusive rights to Benefit Informatics to use the Benefit Analyzer and Benefit Planner service names in marketing online benefit management services in the United States. Benefit Informatics has applications on file with the USPTO for other services.
Benefit Analyzer is an online management information service that provides analysis of health benefit plan performance with the ability to benchmark and organize health claim data on demand while comparing diagnoses, procedure costs and utilization patterns. Benefit Analyzer functions to analyze historical utilization trends, review claim payment details, to compile comparative benchmark data, and ad-hoc management reporting, and in the output of customized data.
Benefit Planner provides benefit plan modeling technology to assist benefit administrators, employers, brokers in developing and analyzing multiple plan scenarios while predicting the cost of plan design alternatives. Benefit Planner provides the following functions: Forecasting based on historical utilization, the calculation of variations in plan design and insurance coverage, and the evaluation of cost shifting alternatives.
