Bids Accepted on Auction Items

Beginning Friday, May 29, bids will be accepted on items being offered in one of the biggest online auction events in Green Country.
Called Auction Mania, the event is being presented by the Tulsa Business Journal, Neighbor Newspapers and local merchants as a way to help readers save money on needed services and merchandise.
Featured are dozens of items. At the upper end of the scale are a $550,000 townhouse in Tulsa, a $318,500 golf course luxury home in Owasso and a grandfather clock with a retail value of more than $20,000.
Bidding is expected to be brisk on a new Carrier central heat and air conditioning system, a gas-sipping motor scooter, two rounds of weekend golf for two, an above-ground swimming pool and a professional photography package. Other items in the auction include jewelry, a 50 inch plasma television, sofa and love seat combination as well as a number of gift certificates from area merchants.
All items can be previewed by visiting, Bidders can register to participate in the auction and find complete auction rules at the same site. Bidders are also encouraged to take a look at the items in person by visiting the participating local merchants.
Bidders without Internet access can place their bids via a toll-free telephone number by calling 1-800-310-9315 weeknights from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Bidders can also place bids at any Neighbor Newspaper office.
The auction continues through June 8.
