Boldt Headquarters Earns LEED Certification

The Oklahoma headquarters of Boldt Construction Company, located at Hefner Road and the Broadway Extension in Oklahoma City, has become Oklahoma’s first privately-owned building to earn silver Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Boldt formally opened its headquarters in October 2005 earning 36 LEED credits, the most of any LEED-rated building in Oklahoma.
Company officials said constructing an environmentally sensitive building added approximately $275,000 in construction costs to the initial product, however the company expects to receive that investment back in less than four years from utility savings.
