Candlewood Suites of Tulsa was recently selected as the winner of the InterContinental Hotels Group 2006 Priority Club Rewards Members’ Choice Award and the 2006 Newcomer Award.
Located at 10008 E. 73rd St. South, Candlewood Suites was voted No. 1 by Priority Club members out of more than 120 Candlewood brand hotels nationwide. Representatives from Tulsa’s Candlewood Suites accepted both awards in early October at the IHG Americas Investors & Leadership Conference in Toronto.
The hotel was also the recipient of the Newcomer Award. This award is given to properties that merit special recognition as being among the best of the Candlewood brand hotels to have opened in the proceeding two years. Scores from corporate inspections and customer surveys determine the winner. Candlewood Suites of Tulsa opened in July 2004.
Candlewood Suites of Tulsa is one of only three in Oklahoma, one of 124 across the U.S., and is a member of the IHG family of brands. Candlewood Suites is owned and operated by Jeff Hartman of Tulsa and his partners in SJS Hospitality, LLC. Other SJS properties include the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Broken Arrow next to Bass Pro Shop.
Candlewood Suites of Tulsa employs a staff of 15, is an active business partner in the community and supports Broken Arrow Neighbors, the United Way of Tulsa, and the Tulsa Metro Chamber.
