Next week, Chipotle Mexican Grill will open its first restaurant in Oklahoma with a sneak peak of the restaurant’s gourmet burritos and tacos.
The new location will open near the Woodland Hills Mall at 10902 E. 71st St. on Friday, Oct. 26 but will first host a free day on Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., offering free food and drinks.
The 2,000-SF store will seat 32 people indoors and 10 on the patio and will employ about 30 people.
The new restaurant was built using sustainable architecture like recycled drywall, low VOC paints and energy efficient appliances. When the doors open, the restaurant will serve naturally-raised meats, hormone-free dairy and organically grown beans that are part of the burrito company’s mission to change the way people think about and eat fast food.
The store will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
