Corporate Training Company Meets the Needs of Expanding Hispanic Workforce

Learning Unlimited has added Jesus Arteaga, a native of Mexico, to its staff of corporate trainers. Celebrating its 15th year, the Tulsa-based company serves a diverse client base locally, nationally and internationally, including Helmerich & Payne, Hilti, Explorer Pipeline, Yahoo!, Sonic Drive-In, Cherokee Nation Enterprises and QuikTrip.

“Spanish is the official language in 27 countries. There are an estimated 75,000 Hispanic people in Tulsa, and it continues to be the fastest growing employee segment in America,” explains Mike Todd, President and CEO. “It makes sense that we make efforts to serve our existing customers as well as target the Hispanic market.”

Arteaga holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Instituto Techologico de Sonora and a master’s degree in gestalt therapy from the Instituto de Terapia in Guadalajara. He is certified in low and high ropes courses, leadership development curriculum, coaching and in neuro-linguistic programming.

Prior to joining Learning Unlimited, Arteaga was founder and director of DINAMIC, one of the first firms in mid-Mexico to offer experiential training and development programs, and was a consultant for Learning Unlimited with its South American clients.

He also worked as an organizational development coordinator for Telefonos de Mexico and as a trainer for AT&T Consumer Products.
