Tulsa-based real estate investor and developer Paul Coury, president of Coury Properties, has announced the creation of the Coury Collection, a professional services consultancy dedicated to the development and management of boutique hospitality properties.
The Coury Collection offers consulting services to property owners or investors considering upscale hotel development plans. Phillip King has been named executive vice president of the new business unit.
The first hotel developed by Coury was Tulsa’s Hotel Ambassador, a 55-room boutique hotel cited on the National Register of Historic Places. The 108-room Colcord Hotel located in downtown Oklahoma City, opened in Oct. 2006, and is the newest addition to the Coury Collection portfolio.
The Coury Collection’s spectrum of consulting services will cover operations, fiscal reporting and forecasting, customer identification, marketing, e-commerce, and property management after a facility is opened.
Coury has overseen more than 20 redevelopment projects, designed three gated residential communities, and provides asset management services for a $200 million hotel and golf course portfolio.
