Cox Names New Senior VP, Announces Promotions

Cox Communications Inc. tapped David Bialis as its new senior vice president for its Western division.
He will replace Claus Kroeger, who is retiring.
Bialis has been vice president and general manager of Cox’s Oklahoma system since 1992.
Percy Kirk has been named senior vice president and general manager of Cox Oklahoma, replacing Bialis.
A nine-year veteran of Cox, Kirk most recently served as the senior vice president and general manager of Cox Omaha.
Eide Bailly Welcomes Staff
Eide Bailly LLP, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, announced the addition of two new employees to the firm’s growing Oklahoma offices.
Preston Smith, CPA joined the audit department as a senior manager. Smith has more than 10 years experience in public accounting.
Megaen Breuer joined the audit department as a senior associate. Megaen spent two years with a big four accounting firm in Kansas City.
DSDA Hires Rambach

OSU-CHS Faculty Inducted Into Honor Society
Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences faculty members David Wallace, Ph.D., assistant dean for research and professor of pharmacology and Richard Wansley, Ph.D., associate professor of behavioral sciences, have been inducted into full membership of Sigma Xi, an international science honor society.
Membership in Sigma Xi Society is by nomination only and is conferred upon individuals who have demonstrated noteworthy achievements in science or engineering as well as other scholarly pursuits that aim to improve the human condition.
The society’s purpose is to enhance the research enterprise, foster integrity in science and engineering, and promote the public’s understanding of science.
The induction was overseen by Ziad El Rassi, Ph.D., OSU professor of chemistry and president of the OSU Chapter of Sigma Xi.
Crowe & Dunlevy Announces Addition
Crowe & Dunlevy recently announced the addition of Geren Steiner as a director in the firm’s Oklahoma City office.
Steiner was previously employed by Crowe & Dunlevy from 2000 to 2004.
For the past four years, he was employed by Domain Properties Ltd. LC, a real estate investment and management company in Oklahoma City.
Tulsa-Area Builders Earn Green Accreditation
Twenty-four home builders make up the first class of Tulsa professionals to earn the Certified Green Professional designation offered by the National Association of Home Builders University of Housing.
Last year, Oklahoma State Home Builders Association endorsed stringent national guidelines by NAHB Green Building program. The designation recognizes a high degree of professional competence. Achieving the designation requires 24 hours of NAHB-approved training, combined with additional continuing education every two years.
