Cox Ranked 17th on Diversity Top 50

Cox Communications recognized as the 17th ranked company on the DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity List.

This is Cox’s fourth year on the list and is the third consecutive year in which Cox has ranked in the top 25. In addition to its ranking in the DiversityInc Top 50, Cox also has earned diversity distinction with a 100 percent rating in the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index. And, for six straight years, Cox has been named the Best Operator for Women in the annual Women In Cable Telecommunications PAR Survey.
Four hundred one companies participated in The 2009 DiversityInc Top 50 Cos. for Diversity ranking, an increase of 14 percent from last year. Now in its ninth year, the DiversityInc Top 50 Cos. for Diversity? List is the largest competition of its kind. The list is determined solely from a comprehensive survey of diversity management that measures CEO commitment, human capital, corporate communications and supplier diversity. Companies on the DiversityInc Top 50 have clarity of their absolute values of human dignity, demonstrating global adherence to these core beliefs.
