Cox Wins PCMag.Com’s Readers Choice Award

Cox Communications receives PCMag.com’s Readers Choice Award for the fifth consecutive year for its Cox High Speed Internet service.
The award, based on a nationwide online survey, included responses from Cox High Speed Internet customers and a broad range of other Internet providers.
The PCMag.com survey asks readers to rate their Internet Service Provider in each of the eleven categories. Among all ISPs, Cox scored highest for customer service. Other factors that helped Cox earn the 2009 Readers’ Choice Award included speed, reliability, e-mail and technical support.
“This award is a testament to our commitment to customer service and reliability,” said Christine Martin, Director of Communications. “Each day we strive to listen to our customers and deliver the speeds and features that make their lives easier and more entertaining. Not only do our customers get regular speed increases, they have access to valuable features, including the free Cox Security Suite powered by McAfee and online file storage with Media Store and Share.”
Cox recently launched free enhancements to its High Speed Internet service.
All Cox High Speed Internet customers receive free access to ESPN360 by going to www.cox.com/espn360. Also last week, customers with Preferred and Premier service, the vast majority of customers, received a significant speed increase with Premier with PowerBoost now offering up to 25 Mbps.
