Crowe & Dunlevy Attorney Named Federal Bar Director

D. Michael McBride III, an attorney at Crowe & Dunlevy, was elected a national member of the board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association.
His term runs through 2012.
McBride is a former president of the Northern and Eastern Oklahoma Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, a three-term 10th Circuit vice president and former chair of the Indian Law Section of the Federal Bar Association.
The FBA has recognized McBride with a number of awards, including the Indian Law Section Distinguished Service Award in 2009 and the Outstanding Section Chair Award in 2007 and 2008. The FBA comprises more than 16,000 lawyers, judges and magistrates who practice or serve in the federal judiciary and federal government.
“We are proud of Michael’s commitment to the FBA,” said Roger A. Stong, president of Crowe & Dunlevy. “He has contributed immensely to the practice of Indian law and gaming, and we expect to see more of his remarkable contributions as a national board member of the Federal Bar Association.”
McBride is chairman of Crowe & Dunlevy’s Indian Law and Gaming Practice Group. He has dedicated his 15-year legal career to Indian law and has practiced primarily in the areas of federal Indian law and gaming, as well as complex federal, civil and criminal litigation. He is one of two Oklahoma General Members of the International Masters of Gaming Law.
With offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Norman, Crowe & Dunlevy represents clients in all aspects of commercial law practice, including complex business transactions, litigation and regulatory practice in both state and federal courts and agencies, energy law and all types of alternative dispute resolution.
