Daily Grill Coming To Main Street

With a renovated Crowne Plaza Hotel will come a new, upscale restaurant to downtown Tulsa’s lunch district.
Daily Grill, an upscale casual restaurant concept by Woodland Hills, Calif.-based Grill Concepts Inc., is under construction in the hotel and should open late this summer.
“I’m excited about it,” said Marlin Keranen, general manager at the Crowne Plaza. “It’s a great restaurant chain, and they have a great reputation.”
The upscale, American-inspired menu, at over 100 items, is varied and includes soups, salads, sandwiches, steaks, pork chops and fish. Most popular dishes include the cobb salad, chicken pot pie, meatloaf, skirt steak and hamburgers. The lunchtime price point rates $16 per person, pre-tip and -tax, and dinner is about $27.
Daily Grill will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days per week. Zach Horton will serve as chef, and Mike Knight will manage the restaurant. The restaurant will seat about 250, with a full bar and patio.
Grill Concepts Inc. operates 30 restaurants throughout the U.S.
The Crowne Plaza Hotel is nearing the end of its $20 million renovation into a modern, boutique-style space. It is set for completion this fall.
