Festival Hispano, Tulsa’s oldest celebration of Hispanic cultures, is set for Sept. 16-17 at Bell’s Amusement Park at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds.
People of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy Festival Hispano, which will feature live music, great food and Hispanic artwork. The Greater Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce organizes this event every year and believes the festival provides new opportunities for Hispanics to showcase their products and services.
“This is a great way for all Hispanics to celebrate our rich heritage and show support for our community,” said Lori Santiago, chair of the Chamber. “We expect more than 6,000 people to attend the two-day event.”
Festival Hispano lasts from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, and gates open at 4 p.m. There will be free parking at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds.
“We want the festival to be an event for the whole family to enjoy,” Santiago said. “There will be activities for people of all ages.”
