Forbes Lists BOKF as one of America’s Best Big Companies

Forbes, one of the nation’s biggest and most well-respected business magazines, published the 400 Best Big Companies in America in its January 8 issue. BOK Financial was not only one of just 13 financial institutions listed, but it was also the only Oklahoma-based financial company to appear.
“It is gratifying to be included in this prestigious listing of top companies,” said Steven Nell, BOK Financial Executive Vice President. “Our effective business strategy created a record year for us and should provide continued stability in this challenging market. It is an honor to be highlighted with such quality American companies that strive for similar ideals.”
This marks the second year in a row BOK Financial has been included in the prestigious listing. Previously in 2003, Forbes ranked BOK Financial on its list of America’s Top 500 Public Companies. And in 2005, Forbes listed BOK Financial on the 2000 Leading Companies of the World.
The business publication evaluated more than 1,000 corporations with $1 billion or more in revenues. This elite group of American businesses is divided into 26 industry sectors, and the best-managed companies were selected for not only financial performance but also for indicators such as leadership, innovation and execution.
