Forbes, one of the nation’s biggest and most well-respected business magazines, published the 400 Best Big Companies in America in its January 8 issue. BOK Financial was one of just 18 financial institutions listed. Previously in 2003, Forbes ranked BOK Financial on its list of America’s Top 500 Public Companies. And in 2005, Forbes listed BOK Financial on the 2000 Leading Companies of the World.
The business publication evaluated more than 1,000 corporations with $1 billion or more in revenues and used metrics such as the latest 12-month and five-year stock market returns, sales and earnings-per-share growth and debt-to-capital ratios to make its criteria for this year’s list. This elite group of American businesses is divided into 26 industry sectors, and the best-managed companies were selected for not only financial performance but also for indicators such as leadership, innovation and execution.
