Gannett Co., Inc., a Fortune 500 news, information and media company that publishes 90 newspapers and owns 23 television stations, has announced the opening of a Gannett Center of Excellence in Tulsa.
The center, which will serve as Virginia-based Gannett’s circulation department call center, will employ as many as 500.
“We are happy to locate our newest Center of Excellence in Tulsa,” said Rob Althaus, vice president of circulation for Gannett’s Newspaper Division. “Oklahoma has a low cost of doing business, competitive incentives and an available workforce. Oklahoma’s Fast Forward team assisted us throughout the process and brought everyone to the table. We know that Tulsa will be a great fit for our company.”
The center will open in June and will be located in the former Staples Call Center at 4906 S. Memorial, in the Fontana Center.
