The Goddard School, a Pennsylvania-based child development corporation has begun construction on an 8,000 SF location at 8300 N. Owasso Expressway.
The facility is being erected by Stava Building Corporation at a price of $950,000. When complete, it will be a single story, wood framed, brick structure, built to include classroom and office space for up to 140 children.
The school is owned and will be operated by Tom and Marta Young and will enroll children ages 6 months to 5 years. Goddard School currently has 227 franchised units in 28 states, including a location at 17440 N. Western Ave. in Edmond.
According to the company Website, each privately owned franchise requires $100,000 in cash and a $488,500 total investment.
