Griffin Breaks Ground on Downtown Media Center

Griffin Communications has broken ground on a $20 million, 50,000-SF media center in the Downtown Brady District. A facility, which will house employees of the company’s Tulsa properties: KOTV, The News On 6; CW12/19; and Griffin New Media.
Completion of the building, located on 2.5 acres at 106 E. Cameron St., is targeted for summer 2009.
The new building will be dedicated to parents of John and David Griffin, Martha Griffin of Muskogee, a long-time supporter of Oklahoma charities and artists, and the late John Griffin.
Griffin will utilize Oklahoma vendors to plan and build the new media center, including architects Rees Associates from Oklahoma City and engineers Wallace Engineering of Tulsa. Manhattan Construction will serve as general contractor.
