Ground Broken for Riverview Center

Ground was recently broken by developer Property Co. of America on the new Riverview Shopping Center in Jenks.
The $3.8 million retail center will contain 19,804 SF when completed. Walman Commercial Real Estate Services will serve as the leasing company for the project, which is being built by Carl White Construction under the architectural guidance of Wilbanks and Associates. The center will be located at the corner of “A” Street and Ninth Street (Riverfront Drive), just south of Riverwalk Crossing. The project was financed by Summit Bank.
The project’s architecture is expected to complement that of nearby Riverwalk Crossing,
“We made it as attractive as possible, at the request of the City of Jenks,” said Grant Hinch, president of the Tulsa-based Property Co. of America, in a Nov. 2007 interview with the Tulsa Business Journal, “This development will literally serve as their front door.”
The project is expected to be substantially complete by late September and a grand opening is scheduled for Nov. 1.
According to Hinch, the development will include “upscale architectural details” that includes decorative awnings, outdoor patio spaces for restaurant sites and lush landscaping.
“We have designated the south endcap for an additional restaurant or quick service food use and are very pleased with the overall activity and interest level on the project,” he said.
Leases currently executed include Louie’s Sports Bar and Grill, US Cellular and Infiniti Nails.
