Hawthorn Suites Sells for $2.8 Million

Hawthorn Suites of Tulsa, 3509 S. 79th East Ave., has been purchased by Atlanta-based Jameson Crestwood I LLC dba Longhouse Hospitality and been rebranded as a Crestwood Suites.

The selling price for the hotel, which was built in 1983, was $2.8 million. The property appraised for $4.5 million in 2005. The 131-room hotel includes studio (250 SF), one (600 SF) and two bedroom (900 SF) suites and offers fully equipped kitchens in each unit.

Hotel amenities also include an exercise room, an outdoor sport court, pool, and sauna.

According to hotel management, the new owners plan to begin extensive renovation of the property in spring 2007.

Hawthorn Suites Tulsa LLC is listed on courthouse records as the seller of the property.

Based in Atlanta, Longhouse Hospitality owns more than 150 hotels in the United States which are operated exclusively by Park Management Group. The brands owned by Longhouse Hospitality include limited service Jameson Inns and Signature Inns, as well as extended stay Crestwood Suites, Sun Suites and Lodge America.
