Hertz Helps Houston

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ike, Hertz is moving in fleet from all over the country to meet the demands of the Hurricane recovery efforts, to assist all customers, but especially individuals needing cars because their cars have been damaged or lost due to Hurricane Ike and the many relief workers and government personnel who have come to the area to help get the region back on its feet.

Hertz has resumed operations at Houston IAH Bush Intercontinental, Hobby, Sugar Land and Beaumont Airports and is meeting all scheduled flights at the airports. In addition, all Hertz airport locations in the area, including locations as far away as Dallas Forth Worth and Tulsa, have cars available for rent.

The Company has also re-opened 19 of its Houston area off airport Hertz Local Edition locations and is working aggressively to reopen those handful of locations that remain closed.
