Jones, Gotcher & Bogan Announces New Partner

Jones, Gotcher & Bogan is pleased to announce the election of John W. Cannon as shareholder and director in the firm. Mr. Cannon received his Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1989 from Oral Roberts University, magna cum laude. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1993 from the University of Tulsa College of Law, with honors. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1993 and joined Moyers, Martin, Santee, Imel & Tetrick, LLP where he became Partner in 1999. He then moved in-house with Koch Petroleum Group, LP and Flint Hills Resources, LP as Senior Counsel in 2001. Thereafter, he served as Corporate Counsel and Assistant Secretary in John Zink Company, LLC. Mr. Cannon became Of Counsel with Jones, Gotcher & Bogan, PC in 2004 and was named shareholder and director of the firm in the fall of 2006.

Mr. Cannon has obtained significant experience in corporate law and compliance related to manufacturing, sales, distributorships and R&D. He practices in the areas of contracts, commercial transactions and litigation, bankruptcy and reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, wills, trusts and probate.
