Junior Achievement Plans JA BizWalk

Junior Achievement of Eastern Oklahoma gears up for the JA BizWalk on Friday, June 5 in downtown starting at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.
Sponsors of this event include Williams, Linde, Wal-Mart and Dilly Deli.
The two-mile walk is not an ordinary walk and features a route over, under and through downtownTulsa.
Individuals raising at least $50 will receive a free T-shirt and all participants will be treated to a wrap-up party at one of downtown Tulsa’s newest restaurants sponsored by Dilly Deli 402 E. Second St.
Junior Achievement will kick off the Bizwalk at 3 p.m. The route includes stops at the Performing Arts Center, BOK Arena, Tulsa World, Philtower, Atlas Life, Mid Continent, Kennedy Building, 320 S. Boston, Crowne Plaza, Williams Complex at the BOK Tower.
Junior Achievement is raising money to help underwrite the financial literacy programs provided to area schools. Locally, JA programs are taught in over 1,500 classrooms across eastern Oklahoma by a network of more than 1,000 volunteers from local communities.
There are still some openings for teams and individual walkers.
