Kirk Elected ABHES Commissioner

Dr. Kevin Kirk, President of Community Care College and Clary Sage College, has been elected Commissioner of the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, an accreditor of allied health education institutions.

ABHES is the only agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an institutional and specialized accreditor focusing on health care education and training.

The ABHES Board of Commissioners consists of eleven members, five appointed by the Board itself and six elected by the accredited members from among its accredited institutions and programs. At least two of the Commissioners represent the public and have no affiliation with an ABHES-accredited institution.
