Koch Pipeline Donates Land

Koch Pipeline Co. donates 1.7 acres near Hugo to the Speer Volunteer Fire Department, giving the fire department a location on which to build a new fire station.
“We recognize the important role volunteer fire departments play in providing services to rural areas of Oklahoma and the rest of the country,” said Kim Penner, president of Koch Pipeline Company. “We are happy this donation will help the Speer Volunteer Fire Department better serve this area and its citizens.”
“Koch Pipeline’s donation was unexpected and will certainly allow us to use the funds we had set aside to buy property to be used for other purposes,” said Sharon Smith, fire chief. “We appreciate the company’s generosity and support.”
