Local Company Serious About Tech Talent

A Tulsa-grown company is in such need of talented IT personnel that it is offering a $1,000 bounty for recommendations that turn into hires.
Dr. Chris Wright, founder, CEO and president of Reliant (www.reliantlive.com), which provides web-based Strategic Talent Management solutions and services to more than 1,000 organizations, sent out an e-mail July 23 offering the “referral fee” for names.
Last time we talked with Wright, Reliant employed 12 in its offices at 320 S. Boston Ave., Ste. 1026, with an expected revenue stream of $2 million for the year.
“Reliant Needs ASP.NET Developers ($1,000 Referral Fee),” read the appeal.
“Dear colleagues;
“2007 has been a year of tremendous growth for Reliant (formerly CorporateSurvey.com). We have added new members to the Reliant team and continue to search for talent to join us during this exciting time.
We are currently seeking ASP.NET Developers to join our team. We are paying a $1,000 referral fee to anyone who refers a candidate to Reliant that we hire.”
TulsaBJWe did get a response from Wright by e-mail when we asked him about the request.
“I’m afraid the Tulsa market has been drained of IT talent for a while,” he returned.
