Tulsa-based branding communications firm Walsh Associates has merged operations with local advertising and branding agency Magneto Partnership.
The new firm will retain the Walsh Associates name and will include Walsh’s longtime sister company Scizzortell Interactive. Led by Kerry Walsh, president and founder, the creative agency will employ more than 18 creative professionals and will offer a flexible business model to meet increasing demand for diversified branding.
In addition, Tammy Chick, a longtime area marketing professional, has been named managing principal for the new company and will manage day-to-day business and creative activities as well as coordinate business development. Chick previously served as senior account manager at Walsh, coordinating many of the firm’s regional and national accounts.
Aaron Luck, the firm’s creative director, will be named to the executive management team and will increase his responsibilities to include direction of the firm’s interactive branding strategies. The firm’s leaders also will include Magneto principals Bill Ainsworth and Mike Martin, Scizzortell president Jeff Barnes and Walsh principal Paula Brown.
Walsh has more than 35 years experience in Tulsa advertising and
communications. His firm has received numerous local, regional and national
design and marketing awards for its work with such clients as ONEOK, Williams, QuikTrip, Saint Francis Children’s Hospital, SemGroup, Philbrook Museum of Art and Holland Hall.
Ainsworth and Martin have more than 50 years of collective branding experience and have worked in larger markets on many national accounts, including Pace Picante Sauce, Pepsi Cola and American Airlines.
Walsh Associates and Scizzortell currently share office space and resources and
will be joined by Magneto at a soon-to-be renovated building in the downtown Brady district by spring 2008.
