Massive Riverside Project Studied by Missouri Developer

HCW Development, a Branson-based waterfront developer, is considering the west bank of the Arkansas River for a mix of shoreline development that would include commercial, residential, entertainment and hospitality venues.
Tulsa County Commissioner Randi Miller, developer Ron Howell and attorney Kevin Coutant met with Richard Huffman, CEO of HCW and toured Branson Landing, a southwest Missouri project being developed by the group.
The proposed Tulsa development will be between the 11th Street and 21st Street bridges on the west bank of the Arkansas River, on land presently occupied by the River West Festival Park.
The Branson Landing project is a mile-long, mixed use, waterfront project along Lake Taneycomo. The development includes Bass Pro Shop and Belk Department Store as anchor retail stores and a number of restaurant and entertainment venues.
Once complete, the southwest Missouri development will be home to the Branson Convention Center and will offer 220,000 SF of flexible meeting space. The convention center will connect to the Hilton Branson Convention Hotel, a 12-story luxury hotel with 290 rooms and suites.
