Mom of three, 45, Hits $776,365 jackpot

A 45-year-old mother of three hit a $776,365.64 jackpot Friday afternoon at Osage Million Dollar Elm casino in Bartlesville.
The slot machine jackpot was the largest for the Osage Nation’s economic enterprise which operates seven casinos in Osage County.
“This is an exciting day for the biggest winner on a slot machine,” said Ressa Files, general manager at the Bartlesville casino. “It’s fitting that we can celebrate this jackpot with our guest and also the two-year anniversary of when we first opened.”
Tina M. Bell of St. Petersburg, Fla., can decide to accept annual payments of $36,969.84 for 21 years or a one-time lump sum that has yet to be determined, said Dave Vance, a game representative of International Game Technology based in Reno, Nev. IGT is the world’s largest slot machine maker.
Bell was playing a video slot machine called MultiStrike Elvis which was introduced to the casino less than three weeks ago. Bell said she did not realize at first that she had hit a jackpot because the machine stopped operating and told her to call a casino attendant. “I was mad because I wanted to keep playing the game,” she said and then realized she had hit a big jackpot.
Bell said her first order of business is to pay for her late brother’s funeral costs. Bell said she will also help cover housing and vehicle payments for her living three brothers, two of whom are from Oklahoma. Bell said she also has two sisters. Her three children are ages 25, 23 and 16.
Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino in Bartlesville offers 600 electronic games, six blackjack tables, two poker tables, a Player’s Club, a buffet, bar, retail shop and a dance club.
