NSU-Broken Arrow Opens Phase II of $42 Million Campus

Northeastern State University-Broken Arrow, 3100 East New Orleans Ave., has opened Phase II of its $42 million Broken Arrow campus, a move that will allow the school to expand from its current 3,500 to an 8,000-student population in the coming years.
The 158,143-SF project was built, in part, by $26 million in Vision 2025 funds, and includes a library, Building E, and science facilities, Building D. Building G. A classroom facility also funded by Vision 2025, was opened in August 2006.
The money from the Vision 2025 package brings the total taxpayer approved investment in NSUBA to $42 million since 1998. Broken Arrow voters approved $16 million for the initial campus construction on December 9, 1998.
Bates/LZW Architects, 8908 South Yale Ave., Suite 350, designed the buildings, which were erected by Flintco Inc., 1624 W. 21st St.
