Nordam, Dassault Sign $70 Million Deal

The Nordam Group has been selected by Dassault Falcon Jet to manufacture cabinetry for its newest business jet, the Falcon 7X.

Though Nordam and Dassault have been in business together for nearly 30 years, this program is the first cabinetry contract of this size awarded to the Tulsa-based company.

Nordam will produce full ship sets for select Falcon 7X jets, a total of 22 deliverables for each set, including such items as the galleys, closets, vanities, and pockets doors. The initial value of the contract is estimated at approximately $70 million.

The first ship set will be delivered in late 2008 and the program will last through 2011.

Nordam will build, assemble, and finish all Falcon 7X cabinetry at their Wichita facility. Nordam expanded that facility last year and it is entirely dedicated to custom aircraft cabinetry.
