OFMQ Announces Grants

Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality announces federal funds to expand quality improvement assistance for rural healthcare providers.

Hospitals and nursing homes in rural communities will work on a two-year program to improve prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers (bed sores).

“With its experience and strong relationships with providers, OFMQ is uniquely positioned to help make real improvement in rural health quality in our state,” saya Val Schott, Director of the Oklahoma Office of Rural Health and the OSU Center for Rural Health Policy and Advocacy.
