OGE Energy Corp. has announced that in connection with the possible initial public offering by OGE Enogex Partners L.P., Michael P. Cross, G. Rainey Williams Jr. and Robert M. Wohleber have been appointed as the independent directors of OGE Enogex GP LLC, which will serve as the general partner of the MLP.
Cross provides oil and natural gas consulting services to various companies, having previously served as President and CEO of Windsor Energy Resources Inc. He also serves as a director of Warren Equipment Co. and the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board, and is a member of the executive committee of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association.
Williams has been President of Marco Holding Corp., a private investment capital partnership, and its predecessors since 1988. He is a director of BancFirst Corp. and American Fidelity Dual Strategy Fund Inc., and has served as a trustee and committee chair for the YMCA Retirement Fund, YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City, and Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce.
Wohleber served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kerr-McGee Corp. from 1999 until his retirement in 2006. He previously held various leadership positions at the Freeport-McMoRan group of companies, including Senior Vice President and CFO of Feeport-McMoRan Inc. and President, CEO and director of Freeport-McMoRan Sulphur.
Cross, Williams and Wohleber join a six-member OGE Enogex GP LLC Board of Directors that also includes Peter B. Delaney, OGE Energy Chairman, President and CEO; Danny P. Harris, OGE Energy Senior Vice President and COO and Enogex Inc. President; and James R. Hatfield, OGE Energy Senior Vice President and CFO.
