OSU Foundation Appoints Tulsans

The Oklahoma State University Foundation has announced that Monty Butts will assume leadership of the Board of Governors and that Tulsa residents Bryan Close, Patrick and Patricia Cobb and Edward Keller have assumed roles as new governors.
Butts began his professional career in a management training program for Foley’s before returning to Oklahoma in the 1970s to pursue opportunities in investment securities. Today, Butts is the senior vice president and director of fixed income for Capital Advisors in Tulsa where he has been employed for 20 years.
Close is president of CloseBend Inc., a pipe fitting and welding equipment business. He earned a degree in hotel and restaurant administration in 1966 from OSU and has been a member of the Foundation’s Board of Governors since 1993.
Patrick Cobb is the president of Toklan Oil & Gas Corp. and graduated from OSU with a degree in finance in 1973 before earning an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Patricia Cobb is a 1974 OSU graduate with a degree in sociology.
Keller is the retired chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase Foundation and now serves as chairman of Summit Bank. He earned a finance degree in 1963 from OSU.
