OTL Names Top Driver

Oklahoma Tank Lines/United Petroleum Transports names W.C. Moseley 2008 Professional Driver of 2008, said Greg Price, Oklahoma Tank Lines/United Petroleum Transports President and CEO.
“W.C. Moseley has been an outstanding representative for United Petroleum Transports for over 8 years. He was recognized as one of our professional drivers in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and has continued to perform in an exemplary manner,” said Price. “He is richly deserving of our top award, “Professional Driver of the Year.”
Moseley, who is with the OTL/UPT service terminal in Odessa, Texas, safely logged over 850,000 miles for the company.
Also honored as the “Recruit of the Year” was Jerry Rothenberger of OTL/UPT’s San Antonio Service Center. Awarded to that new member of the OTL/UPT team who is “professional, dedicated and exceptional,” Rothenberger was recognized for his knowledge of the trucking industry and his focus on safety as a top priority.
Randy Decker of Oklahoma City was named as the “2008 Technician of the Year.” Recognized for being first in Safety and first to become ASE Master Certified, Decker is a 16-year veteran of OTL/UPT. He was first to manage OTL/UPT’s “R” stamp facility and traveled extensively during the recent purchase of Castle Creek Energy LLC purchase and equipment review.
Other drivers recognized for superior performance were John Williams,Leroy Nieto and Danny Byers, Oklahoma City; Jimmy Keck, and Daniel Reid, Wichita; John Hill, Tulsa; Charlie Rutledge and Ed Norman, San Antonio; Nathan Snyder, Amarillo; Kenny Williams, Abilene; Ruben Perez, Dallas/Ft. Worth.
“To be named one of the top 12 drivers in a fleet of 660 plus drivers is exceptional. These gentlemen deserve congratulations on a job well done,” said Price.
Oklahoma Tank Lines is a third generation, Oklahoma family-owned company. Founded in 1966 by the late Keith Price, it expanded outside of Oklahoma with the name of United Petroleum Transports in 1980 and is the largest hauler of liquid petroleum products in Oklahoma. The company has 16 operation centers in Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
