Omni Oil & Gas, Inc. announced today that it had previously executed a merger with Midwest Sports Collectibles, Inc., a publicly traded company, headquartered in Chicago.
Omni completed its merger with Midwest on or about July 1, 2006. As a result of the merger, Midwest underwent a name change to Omni Oil & Gas, Inc.
Omni is in the business of oil and gas exploration and production.
The company specializes in the purchase, rework and enhancement of properties in proven oil and gas fields. To date, Omni has assembled, and is reworking, a portfolio of eleven oil and gas fields throughout Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma with over 100 wells producing, or capable of producing, and net proven future oil and gas reserves valued at over $60 million.
According to the company, the merger will provide Omni with the ability to successfully move in a two-fold manner and afford the company the ability to secure additional investment capital through the public markets.
