Owasso’s Bailey Medical Center Unveils Facilities

Bailey Medical Center, a three-story, 138,000-SF, 73-bed acute care hospital, has officially opened its doors.
The hospital, at 106th Street and North Garnett Road, is owned by an investing group of physicians and Nashville-based Ardent Health Services. Ardent manages the hospital.
The acute care general hospital, with 137 affiliated physicians, is located on a 26-acre campus featuring ponds, walking trails and fountains.
Bailey, which is recognized nationally for its innovative design, specializes in general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, rehabilitation medicine, occupational medicine, emergency/urgent care, bariatrics and internal medicine.
The hospital features: 73 medical and surgical beds, 5 operating rooms, full service radiology including MRI, CT and mammography, as well as emergency care services.
The hospital also includes: women’s services, an intensive care unit, outpatient surgical services including GI services, inpatient rehabilitation unit, chapel and gift shop, a café and the Bailey Education Center.
The hospital opens with more than 130 allied health employees, but administrators are already anticipating growth. The facility may end up with more than 200 employees by early 2008. Annual payroll will top $10 million.
Bailey Medical Center anticipates its annual property taxes to be $640,000, with $315,000 per year going toward the Owasso Public School District.
