Paragon Industries Will Lay Off 105

Paragon Industries, citing cheap imported Chinese steel that undermines profitability, said it would lay off 105 employees from its Sapulpa and Muskogee facilities, according to press reports.
Pipe maker Paragon makes steel pipe for the oil and construction industries, according to its Web site. The imported product makes it difficult to compete, officials said.
The layoffs will begin in mid-July and involve 90 production workers and 15 support staff members, About 10 of the layoffs will be at the plant in Muskogee.
