The largest oil and natural gas industry companies in Oklahoma will gather for the Mid-Continent Prospect Expo, May 6-7 at the Cox Business Services Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
More than 80 exhibitors will display oil and gas development prospects and properties with the expectation of drawing hundreds of investors from within the oil and gas community. The event is organized by Smart Brothers LLC and is presented by the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association.
Exhibitors include Chesapeake Energy, Samson, ConocoPhillips, Linn Energy, JMA Energy, Continental Resources, SandRidge, Questar, Chaparral Energy. Representatives from service companies Halliburton, Cudd Energy Services, Bronco Drilling, Key Energy Services, Hiland Partners and others will also be available.
Increased crude oil and natural gas exploration in Oklahoma and surrounding areas coupled with the success of international prospect expos underscore the need for a regionally-focused expo in Oklahoma, said Mike Terry OIPA president.
“There is no prospect show specifically serving the mid-continent area,” Terry said. “This show remedies that, and we expect it to become a must-attend event for producers in Oklahoma and surrounding states.”
In addition to the exhibition, the event will host seminars featuring oil and gas producers, capital providers, and service companies that specialize in property evaluation services.
Registration is required, and information can be found at www.midconexpo.com.
