Ranger Steel, the largest independent steel plate distributor in the United States, has added Sales Representative Todd Casper to its sales team at the Tulsa, Oklahoma, distribution center and sales office.
Casper joins Ranger from Macsteel Service Centers USA in Tulsa, where he worked for 10 years in outside sales. Prior to Macsteel, he was warehouse division general manager for KMI Metals in Joplin, Missouri. Casper has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Missouri State University.
“I’m really looking forward to expanding what Ranger has already started in new markets,” Casper said. “The Tulsa facility opens up more opportunities for us in the western states, including Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho and Montana. Ranger’s buying power is amazing. We have complete mill support, which means we can deliver what our customers need when they want it. This makes us unique in our industry.”
Ranger’s Tulsa warehouse facility, which opened on June 1, 2006, now houses 15,000 tons of steel plate inventory. Founded in 1958, Houston-based Ranger Steel is the largest independently owned steel plate distributor in the United States.
