Sand Springs attorney receives special rating

Michael J. King, attorney and sitting judge in Sand Springs, has been given the 2010 AV-Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, a legal publishing company.
Recipients are chosen by a peer review rating process, based on input from lawyers and judges, and managed and monitored by Martindale-Hubbell, which publishes an international law dictionary and other legal resources.
Specially selected attorneys and judges from across the country are sent questionnaires regarding an attorney’s legal abilities and ethical standards and the results are compiled by Martindale-Hubbell.
King has been a partner in private law practice with his law firm, Winters & King, for 21 years. He has also served as city judge in Sand Springs for nine years and was assistant city judge for three years prior.
He served on the Sand Springs Board of Education for nine years and on the Salvation Army board for several years as well.
King is a Rotarian and a member of Word of Life Fellowship in Sand Springs.
