Schnake Turnbo Frank Drafts Koehler as New Media Director

Schnake Turnbo Frank | PR has named Mike Koehler new media director to lead the development of an interactive, multimedia division for the firm.
Most recently Koehler was multimedia editor for The Oklahoman, where he received national attention for integrating various platforms to cover breaking news. He brings more than 15 years of news room experience, serving in roles such as deputy sports editor at The Oklahoman and sports editor at the Muskogee Phoenix.
He will work primarily from the Oklahoma City office, but will work on behalf of the firm’s entire roster of clients.
Koehler is a 1994 graduate of Missouri State University, in Springfield, Mo. He is a member of Central Oklahoma Mensa, and an active supporter of Boy Scouts of America.
Moriarty Joins Fellers Snider Law Firm
With more than 25 years of bankruptcy expertise, Stephen J. Moriarty joins Fellers Snider Law Firm as a shareholder and director.
Moriarty’s practice areas include bankruptcy reorganization, business finance and restructuring, real estate bankruptcy, mortgage bankruptcy litigation, creditor’s rights, receivership and insolvency law. He will complement the firm’s bankruptcy practice with his debtor representation. Moriarty holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He attained his juris doctorate degree from the University of Tulsa. Moriarty is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts of the Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma and the Tenth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He has served as an instructor for the National Business Institute since 1994.

Crowe & Dunlevy attorney Leonard Court has been admitted to the American Law Institute.
Founded in 1923 for the purpose of improving American law, ALI’s membership consists primarily of judges, law professors and law school deans and lawyers who are selected on the basis of manifest professional standing, high character and ability and significant contributions to the legal profession.
Court is a graduate of Harvard Law School and has been practicing law for more than 35 years. He has served as a member of the United States Chamber of Commerce Labor Relations Committee since 1997 and is the former chairman of the firm’s labor and employment law practice group.
Coffey Joins Commercial Oklahoma as Director
Andrew Coffey has joined Commercial Oklahoma Inc. as director. His focus with Commercial Oklahoma is national and local client representation services for office and/or industrial users which include acquisition and disposition; lease and sale negotiations; incentive negotiations; and build to suit analysis and planning. Coffey also concentrates on providing Oklahoma-based companies with solutions to their national real estate needs.
He has a MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia.
ClearRidge Capital Names Tommerup as Manager
ClearRidge Capital, an Oklahoma provider of restructuring, corporate finance, merger and acquisition services for midsize companies, has expanded its restructuring team with the addition of Connie Tommerup, a seasoned professional with extensive due diligence, internal controls, audit and public accounting experience.
Tommerup’s primary role is analyzing clients’ financial systems, reporting processes and internal controls. She mainly works on ClearRidge’s corporate finance, restructuring and due diligence projects.
Prior to joining ClearRidge, Tommerup worked in the consulting area of the largest Colorado-based accounting and business advisory firm, Ehrhardt Keefe Steiner and Hottman PC. At EKS&H, Tommerup worked on financial analysis of acquisitions, due diligence engagements, internal control assessments and conducted SAS 99 interviews for the firm’s audit group. In 2007, Tommerup received the EKS&H Outstanding Client Service Award.
Tommerup was previously the controller of the Texas Cattle Feeders Association for 12 years.
Tommerup earned an MBA from West Texas A&M and holds a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Northern Colorado. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Crowe & Dunlevy Attorney Honored by Federal Bar Association
D. Mike McBride III, an attorney at Crowe & Dunlevy, was recently presented the Award for Distinguished Service by the Federal Bar Association at the 34th Annual Indian Law Conference in Santa Fe, N.M.
The Award for Distinguished Service is given annually to an FBA member who has exhibited outstanding achievement, distinguished leadership and participation in the Indian Law Section activities throughout the nation.
McBride is immediate past chair of the Indian Law Section of the FBA and currently serves as general counsel to the FBA’s national board of directors. A director at Crowe & Dunlevy, McBride chairs the firm’s Indian Law and Gaming Practice Group.
University of Phoenix Names Head of State Corporate Education Initiatives
University of Phoenix-Tulsa has promoted Alan Faulk to state director of corporate education. In this position, Faulk will develop strategies to increase positive awareness of the university within the business and government community.
Faulk received a bachelor of arts organizational/interpersonal communications degree at Oral Roberts University. He also holds a life insurance license from the State Board of Oklahoma. Faulk has served University of Phoenix since 2006, as an enrollment counselor and as corporate education liaison for the Tulsa campus. Prior to joining UOP, Faulk served as executive area manager for Arbonne International, and as a human resource generalist for Dish Network.
Tulsa Heating, Air Dealer Named Top 25 in North America
An Oklahoma dealer has won the Dave Lennox Award recognizing the top 25 heating and cooling dealers in North America for the first time in the award’s history.
Selected from among more than 7,000 North American dealers, Airco Service Inc. is the first in the state to win the prestigious award for performance and customer service from Lennox International.
“We have pursued this award for 15 years,” said Tom Boyce, co-owner of Airco Service. “So it is a true honor to receive it and to have our efforts recognized within our industry.”
Airco Service has grown from a single-truck operation in 1961 to the largest service fleet in northeastern Oklahoma today with nearly 100 employees.
Verizon Names Manager, Assistant for Tulsa Hills Store
Verizon Wireless has promoted Jason Jameson to store manager of the company’s newest Tulsa-area store at Tulsa Hills, 7145 S. Olympia Ave. He will oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, train sales and customer service representatives and promote Verizon Wireless, as well as providing world-class customer service.
Jameson has four years of management experience in the wireless industry and over 10 years of expertise in retail management. He is a graduate of Northeastern State University with a bachelor of arts degree in Economics.
Tiffany Hord has been named assistant manager of retail sales for the Tulsa Hills location. Hord will help lead the day-to-day operations of the store, train sales and customer service representatives and sell Verizon Wireless products and services.
Hord joined Verizon Wireless in 2007 as a customer service-sales representative in Findlay, Ohio. She has also served as a store supervisor for the Verizon Wireless location in south Tulsa. Hord graduated from Ohio State University in 2006 with a bachelor of arts degree in English.
XETA Names Executive Director of Operations
XETA Technologies has promoted Paul R. Comeau to the newly created position of executive director of operations reporting directly to Greg Forrest, XETA’s president and CEO. In this new position, Comeau will oversee the day-to-day operations of all of the company’s service operations.
As executive director of operations, Comeau will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the necessary strategies for XETA’s service operations to attain targeted growth and profitability goals.
Comeau joined XETA in early 2007. He is an accomplished management leader with more than 25 years of achievements in field operations, call center, customer support center, sales engineering and business process improvement. Prior to joining XETA, he held various senior operations management positions at NextiraOne, Williams Communications and Bell Canada.
